The Carleton Place Skating Club is a non-profit organization. In order to provide our Club members with quality programs at reasonable prices, it is necessary to do fundraising. All of the profits that are generated through our fundraising activities go, directly, to the Club. Funds are used to help offset the costs of ice, coaching, equipment, insurance, supplies, awards and special events.
The Club is planning numerous fundraising activities.
Picture It Photos
We have partnered with the Picture It Studio in Carleton Place to do professional photos. Check out the creative intimiate, relaxed, fun or formal photos at www.pictureitstudio.ca. You can book a 15 minute photo session for $29 where you will receive 3 photos on a CD or you can have a 30 minute session with 6 photos for $49. This is a great way to get family photos or even some fun shots of the kids for Christmas cards! Our 1st group of photo sessions will be booked over Thanksgiving weekend (October 7th to 9th). For more information or to book an appointment, please contact Brenda Leblanc at fundraising@cpskate.ca. Please tell your family and friends!
2012 Calendar Fundraiser
Wyman Publishing, a business based in Carleton Place, has graciously extended their fundraising package to our Club. Attached you will find the price list (with pictures) and order form for these beautiful calendars. They make a great gift! The price list and order will be handed out at each skating session. For more information, please contact Brenda Leblanc at fundraising@cpskate.ca.
Independent Grocery Card Fundraiser
Help support the CPSC by purchasing and selling Independent Grocery Store gift cards! They are available in $50 and $100 denominations and you can use them at any Independent Grocer, Loblaws, Real Canadian Superstore, Valu-mart, Fortinos, Zehrs, No Frills, Provigo, Atlantic Superstore, Atlantic SaveEasy, Atlantic SuperValu or Extra Foods across the country.
Cards will be for sale on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings at the rink. Payment can be cash or cheques made out to the Carleton Place Skating Club. They never expire and you receive your gift cards immediately. We all need groceries, please consider shopping at one of these stores and supporting the CPSC. When you get to the cashier, give them the gift card. The cashier will scan this card and take off the value of the groceries you purchased. The card will keep the remaining value on it. For example, if you had a $100.00 card and your bill came to $87.00, the card will have $13.00 remaining on it for the next time you go grocery shopping.
For more information or if you are willing to sell additional cards to your family and friends, please contact Amanda Mulloy at 613-257-8023 or amanda@tomahawk.ca.
